Modern research continues to confirm what God established from the beginning. Our minds, bodies and relationships flourish when we embrace healthy rhythms of rest.
Jesus modelled this perfectly. Even while surrounded by endless needs and unfinished work, He regularly withdrew to spend time with the Father and called His disciples to rest. He demonstrated that stepping away was never a sign of weakness but an act of wisdom and obedience.
In this episode, we pray for men who carry the pressures of providing, leading and serving others. We ask God to guard their hearts from exhaustion, renew their minds, help them be fully present with the people they love, and teach them to find true rest in His presence. May they discover that rest is not quitting the race but receiving the strength to keep running it faithfully.
As we conclude this episode, we also share why the ministry will be taking a sabbatical throughout the month of September. Our prayer is that this decision encourages others to embrace God’s gift of rest, trusting that He continues His work even while we pause to be renewed in His presence. Listen here.
